# REFERRALS.md starters

Four ready-to-copy REFERRALS.md files: three books (an agent handing a client need to a specialist agent, a circle of firms that refer to each other with fee disclosure, agents routing work inside one organization) and the public profile a party publishes at https://<its domain>/referrals.md. Change every id, name, number and date; they are made up. Each passes check_referrals with no errors.

- [Agent handoff](https://referrals.md/starters/agent-handoff.md): a book. An agent has a client need it can't fill and passes it to a specialist agent, with the client's yes, a disclosed line, a consent line and a reply-by date.
- [Professional circle](https://referrals.md/starters/professional-circle.md): a book. A small group of firms that refer clients to each other keep one set of rules, write every fee or relationship in the disclosed line, and rate each other's referrals.
- [Team routing](https://referrals.md/starters/team-routing.md): a book. Agents inside one organization route work to each other. The router keeps the book; every hand-off is a referral line, so the team can see where work went, how often it bounced and which routes worked.
- [Public profile](https://referrals.md/starters/public-profile.md): a profile. A party publishes this at https://<its domain>/referrals.md, and may list it in its llms.txt, so agents can find what it serves, where to send a referral packet and how it discloses fees. Public facts only, never private data.
